I’m delighted to share with you the fabulous cover for the first in a series of two collections of my short stories to be published soon. 

DRAGONFLIES AND THE GREAT BLUE HERON is named for the lead story in the collection of thirty-nine feel-good stories. It’s the love story of my wonderful wife Sharolie and me. 

The second collection, MIRACLES AND MISADVENTURES includes thirty-two stories that chronicle near-disasters as well as miraculous survivals, and a bit of humor.

Manuscripts for both collections now are in the hands of my terrific publisher, Next Chapter Inc. Besides being home to gifted cover artists, Next Chapter is remarkable in its own right, with offices around the world: Finland, UK, Australia, Japan and US.  

The two short story collections represent books number four and five of my seven-book contract with Next Chapter. The first three are the Secret Shepherd Conspiracy series: PRESCRIPTION FOR DECEPTION, THE PLOT TO ASSASSINATE SECRET SHEPHERD, and THE MAIDSTONE CONSPIRACY, published during the previous two years. 

As for timing for release of DRAGONFLIES AND THE GREAT BLUE HERON, we still have manuscript editing and approval to go. And Next Chapter has a huge list of outstanding authors from around the world. The good news is it’s in the cue. So, please stand by! As soon as I know, you will know!
