It's my good fortune to bring a varied background to my writing. This includes journalism, teaching, 15 years as a corporate vice president and 10 years as an investor relations consultant. I earned a BA in psychology and political science at the University of Alberta and did graduate studies there and at Duke University in Durham, NC. I also hold accredition (APR) from the Canadian Public Relations Society, which has been kind enough to honor me with a life membership (LM), an honorary fellowship FCPRS(H) and its lifetime achievement award, the Philip A. Novikoff Award. I'm also honored to hold the long service medal (CD) from the Canadian Armed Services.
