This category includes links to some articles I’ve written for a freelance blog specializing in ‘long-form journalism’, called BestStory.ca. Fair warning: it’s a pay-per-view site, which means I get paid according to the number of viewers. I will post here the first few paragraphs of those articles, as ‘teasers’, along with links to them at BestStory.ca. You can browse the site without charge and review summaries of the dozens of stories posted by other writers. Some stories are quite compelling, like the man who was shot in the head by a Nazi soldier during WWII and survived to become a valued Canadian citizen.
